Best Buy® added MyFax to its list of productivity tools available through the Best Buy Software Installer, making the online fax service available on selected PCs and netbooks sold at U.S. Best Buy stores. New computers are typically pre-loaded with a bunch of unwanted software, causing a problem called “bloatware”. As the first major retailer to address the problem, Best Buy came up with Software Installer which gives consumers control over the content on their new or existing computers. Software Installer lets Best Buy customers select what they want on their PCs or netbooks from an online library of services that they can trial and purchase at their discretion such as MyFax.
