RingCentral announced today that it received a 2009 Webware 100 award for Communication.
More than 630,000 votes from the Web 2.0 community were cast in an online poll, which the finalists were selected by the editors of Webware, a CNET site.

RobsChoice.com named Faxage as the Best Internet Fax Service. According to the review site, the service seems reliable, pricing inexpensive, and security supports SSL-based send and receive capabilities. In addition, they also liked the flexible setup options the online fax company offers. However, the company’s biggest shortcoming was they are just limited to domestic faxes at the time.
RingCentral announced today that it has been selected as a 2009 “Webware 100” award finalist. The online fax services company is one of 300 companies selected as a finalist by the editors of CNET Webware.com amongst more than 5,000 qualifying services and applications.
The best Web 2.0 sites, services, and applications are selected as the Webware 100, which recognizes leaders in innovation. The editors of Webware select the finalists, but the final 100 winners will be decided by an online vote. The winning companies will be announced on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
Internet Telephony magazine awarded RingCentral the 2008 Product of the Year Award.
The online fax and hosted business services company received the award for its innovative and comprehensive business class phone service. Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC(R)) Internet Telephony magazine has awarded RingCentral the Product of the Year Award for four consecutive years. In addition, the company has received five other awards from TMC over the past two years including the 2008 Excellence Award, Customer Interaction Solutions magazine’s 2008 Innovation Award, Unified Communications(R) Magazine’s 2007 Product of the Year Award, Communications Solutions 2006 Product of the Year Award and TMC Labs’ 2006 Internet Telephony Innovation Awards.

Chronical Technologies selects Faxage as provider of choice. Chronicle makes software for managing small-to-medium construction and disaster-restoration businesses. They wanted to provide their clients with integrated faxing from within their software and said after testing a number of online fax providers that they recommend Faxage. According to the Chronicle, “We recommend Faxage: of the services compatible with Chronicle, it has the best pricing, the best performance of those tested, and the most timely responses to requests for help (within an hour).”
