For the sixth year in a row, Protus was honored with Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC) Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award for their MyFax online fax service. The 2009 award winner, MyFax is a web fax service that enables users to manage their fax communication and corresponding document management workflow using the internet.
RingCentral announced today that it has received the 2009 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC) Communications Solutions Magazine.
The Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award is a prestigious award which recognizes vision, leadership, and thoroughness.

TopTenREVIEWS awarded MyFax its fifth straight Gold Award. Over a dozen online fax services were reviewed and MyFax was given the “Gold” or No. 1 ranking. The company was judged on its feature set, ease of use, customer service, and price.
The Branham300 is a comprehensive listing of publicly traded and privately held IT companies in Canada. This annual list, published today, ranked MyFax parent company Protus at 56 out of 300. The Branham300 also recognized Protus as a Top Ten application service provider, and among the Top 20 “Movers and Shakers” within Canada’s competitive technology industry.

Internet Telephony Magazine awarded RingCentral the Product of the Year Award in their February 2010 issue. Internet Telephony recognizes the vision, leadership, and attention to detail of the most innovative products and services with this award.
According to the magazine, “RingCentral has demonstrated its commitment to the advancement of business communications with the development of new and innovative solutions like RingCentral Office,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC President and Group Editor-in-Chief.

For the fourth year in a row, Customer Interaction Solutions magazine awards RingCentral the Product of the Year Award.
Customer Interactions Solutions magazine features CRM (customer relationship management), call centers and teleservices.
According to the magazine, Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC, says “I am pleased to honor RingCentral for its hard work and success. The company has demonstrated excellence in contact center technologies as well as providing ROI for the companies that use them.”

The World Economic Forum selected RingCentral as a 2010 Technology Pioneer. The award will be given at their annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland in January 2010. Candidates are nominated by technology experts and judged by a panel appointed by the World Economic Forum on the basis that these companies have developed a life-changing technology innovation and have the potential for long-term impact on business and society.
Previous winners of the Technology Pioneers award include AdMob, ClearWire, Google, LoudCloud, Mint.com, Monster.com, Sycamore Networks, TellMe Networks, and UTStarcom.
This year, twenty-six companies were selected from a pool of 300 prospects.
The World Economic Forum selected RingCentral as a 2010 Technology Pioneer. Vlad Shmunis the founder and CEO of RingCentral will be receiving the award in Davos, Switzerland at the January 2010 annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
The Technology Pioneer award is very prestigious. Previous winners have included AdMob, ClearWire, Google, LoudCloud, Mint.com, Monster.com, Sycamore Networks, TellMe Networks, and UTStarcom.
Although RingCentral is probably being honored primarily for their telephone product, RingCentral also does have a great email fax product.
In response to the award, Vlad Shmunis said, “Receiving this recognition is a true testament to our capabilities and underscores the importance of our work in delivering innovative cloud based business phone systems to businesses.”
The Ottawa Business Journal announced its Employees’ Choice Awards (ECA) and named Protus, MyFax’s parent company, as one of its winners. This is the third year in a row that Protus won this award.
Companies are selected based on its employees’ opinion, survey scores and comments, which demonstrate why it is a great place to work. MyFax’s parent company received a positive response rate of 84% on its survey results.
The ECA program selected ten companies for this award using in-depth employee surveys which they believe provides valuable affirmation of employee motivation factors and satisfaction drivers, as well as opportunities for continuous improvement.
